As we drove along near Moses Lake, WA, Lynda spotted a very unusual dust devil. The column of dust was like a white pillar rising in the sky. It was the "tallest" one any of us had ever seen. It's in the center of the photo below

We parked at the scenic overlook at the Columbia River and looked around at the spectacular view. On a bluff above the river there is an unusual statue of a dozen or so horses.

The heights above the river offer a grand view.

We continued across the river to the Ginkgo Petrified Forrest State Park. There are some wonderful petroglyphs that have been moved to the park. The park is at the town called Vantage.

The park is above the Wanapum Reservoir on the Columbia River.

Soon, we began to see mountain that still have some of their winter snow.

It seemed a bi strange to me for us to be going along at 70 mph in the mountains.

A enormous amount of water goes over the water fall at Snoqualmie, Washington.

While we were at the Sonqualmie Falls, a man offered to take a photo of the four of us.

We got several good looks at Mt. Rainier as we moved along I-5 toward Lacey.
