A Visit

Our friends, Ray and Carolyn, are coming for a visit. We are hoping to do some planning for trips within the U.S. and maybe talk about another trip to Europe.

The last couple of night have been rather cool and it's supposed to be even cooler tonight. Some places just to the north of us may have frost tonight. I brought most of my small tomato plants inside for the night.

Spring

Well it looks as if spring may be here. There was some concern about low temperatures for Monday night. We were hoping that we wouldn't have a repeat of last year's Easter freeze which wiped out the peach crop here in eastern Arkansas. I don't think the temperature got down to freezing. Anyway, the word is that the low temperatures didn't last long enough to really hurt the peaches. And maybe my fig tree will have a more abundant crop so I can share with friends this year.

Last night at our church's family night supper we had a presentation on our trip to UMCOR Sager Brown.
