We are spending the night in Elk City, OK. This is the beginning of our three-week trip out to Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion National Parks and points in that area. The plans include spending a few days with David and Jeannie in South Fork, CO. Then we will wrap things up with a visit to Carolyn and Ray on our way back to Forrest City.
Today and tomorrow are mainly days for long driving to get us to the places to beginning the highlights of the trip. We drove olong I-40 today. I hope to post some photographs as we go along. Most of the motels that we will be staying in have high speed internet access, but I've discovered that doesn't insure that I will get connected.
I'm still working on an itinerary that I can mail (e- and snail-) out to folks.
